One thing that I found implausible about Foster’s Atomik Aztex was, that even though he was a very powerful leader, he didn’t have many friends. People weren’t the biggest fan of him, despite all of his power, he still wasn’t liked very much. He was ruthless and got things accomplished, which is a good thing, but he also did whatever it takes to win, even if that means hurting other people in the process. Hernan Cortes was a leader with ambitions only to bring the natives of Mexico to the Kingdom of Spain and Christianity. He did not care what he had to do in order to accomplish this. In a sense, this is a positive thing, but on the other hand, it was rather negative. Everything that he did during his reign was to make him more wealthy than he already is. He didn’t care what he had to do, he only craved wealth, and he succeeded. He did lots of good while being a leader. He managed to strategically align some indigenous peoples against others. Eventually, he overthrew the powerful Aztec empire. I personally would say that he did more bad than good, but he managed to get some extremely difficult tasks done in the process.
